Deacon Paul Lissandrello

Deacon Paul Lissandrello of Randolph, Vermont was named Pastoral Associate of Saint Matthew Parish in Limerick, Maine on July 1, 2003. 

In addition to serving as a permanent deacon in the Diocese of Burlington, Vermont, Deacon Paul was also Principal of Saint Michaels’ Elementary School in Montpelier, Vermont.

His position at Saint Matthew’s will allow him to work full-time in parish ministry. He was ordained by the late Bishop John A. Marshall of Burlington on Septermber 21, 1986, the Feast of Saint Matthew.

Deacon Paul is married to Patricia (nee Fay) Lissandrello, who is employed as a librarian at a public elementary school. They have two grown children. Daughter, Noel Dodge, lives with her husband, Mark, and grandson Jack in Palm Desert, California. Son, Paul Christian (Chip), lives in Jackson, Wyoming. 

Deacon Paul and Pat are both looking forward to their new life in a parish they see as spiritually alive, “a wonderful place to do God’s work”.
