FOOD PANTRY: Tonight, one out of five children will go to bed hungry because their parents can’t afford to buy food, and pay rent, taxes, utilities and other monthly debts. Annually we prepare Thanksgiving and Easter baskets for the needy. The Food Pantry appreciates donations of non-perishables in order to prepare for this effort. Our Food Pantry is able to purchase $100 worth of food for $20.00. We have the ability to buy, but we also need the funds. Money donations will be greatly appreciated. Have you heard of “St. Anthony’s Bread?” The more we give in his name, the greater our return.

Our P.A.R. (Plant A Row) Program and Senior Farmshare are successful partners. We thank Spiller Farm, MacDougal Orchards and our own Proctor Farm of Limerick for their generous offerings of produce and apples.

For those needing help with fuel assistance, please call 324-5762, or 1-800-965-5762 and ask about the guidelines for the Home Energy Assistance Program.
